    49th edition.

Since the restoration of St. Vincent Cathedral, completed in May 1972, a Festival of Sacred Music has been held every summer. It is a question of making live culturally this very visited building, by proposing the works of the vast repertory of the classical music written for the church.

The Saint-Malo Sacred Music Festival Choir, the linchpin of the festival, occurs every summer, sometimes in conjunction with other formations. Various ensembles, French and foreign, are invited. They are most often made up of adult and orchestral choirs. There is also a place for children’s masters. Certain ensembles have been present for a long time, notably the Duke's Chapel in Düsseldorf, now led by Martin Fratz.
