  • "Quebec and Saint-Malo will mark the history of sailing by giving a tenth start to the oldest ocean race from west to east and without stopping.

This race, appreciated by sailors and sailing enthusiasts, promises to take up the transatlantic challenge. On the sporting side, strong participation from the Multi50, Class40, Open and Imoca classes, all at the cutting edge of technology, risks breaking all records on the legendary course of 3000 nautical miles.

On July 12, 2020 at 1:30 p.m., the crews will leave between Quebec and Lévis to overcome the whims of the majestic San Lorenzo River. they will then leave for the great crossing of the Atlantic basin and then engage in the hard battle of the English Channel, just before the first wave of arrival at Saint-Malo scheduled for July 18 and 19, 2020. More than 35 crews will be gathered in Quebec for Québec- Saint-Malo 2020.

An ideal opportunity to celebrate the maritime, cultural and historical affinities between the New World and the Old World. Twenty days of celebrations: in Quebec from July 2 to 12 and from July 17 to 26 in Saint-Malo.
On the program, gastronomy, theater, music, science and digital arts ".
