Journey to the End of the Night is a first-person account in which the main character, Bardamu, recounts his experience of the First World War, colonialism in Africa, the United States of the interwar, and the social condition in general. Celine's first novel, an anarchist, anti-all and universally tragic masterpiece, a masterpiece of lightning, the journey is a true and uncompromising dissection of the human soul; an absolute search for the truth made of flesh, miasma and blood. With humility and brio, Franck Desmedt adapts Celine's genius. In 2018, Franck Desmedt received the Molière of the comedian in a supporting role for Adieu Monsieur Haffmann.

    Text: Louis-Ferdinand Céline
    Interpretation and direction: Franck Desmedt
    Adaptation: Philippe Del Socorro
A show presented by Sea Art and the Théâtre de la Huchette
