The Étonnants Voyageurs festival

For over 20 years, the "grandchildren of Stevenson and Conrad" have found themselves at the foot of the ramparts of Saint-Malo every summer. At the mercy of vagabond moods and the impetuous wind, the Étonnants Voyageurs Festival invites visitors to participate in a a great literary adventure.

  • Free entry to the Salon du livre book fair: Friday 18 May, de 9.30 amto 7 pm and every day from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Ticket Office

On site, before the festival

  • Ticketing at the reception of the Salon du livre book fair, at the quai Saint-Malo: Thursday, May 17 and Friday, May 18, 2018 in Saint-Malo from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 8 pm.
  • Ticketing at the Grande Passerelle cultural centre, from Wednesday 3rd to Friday 18th May 2018, during Grande Passerelle opening hours.

During the festival: Saturday 19, Sunday 20 and Monday 21 May 2018

  • Main ticket office: Quai Duguay-Trouin small tent (opposite the Grand Large) 9 am to 7 pm
  • Grande Passerelle cultural centre 9 am to 6 pm

There is no longer a ticket office at the Chateaubriand theatre (old town)

Access, transport

By car: free park and ride from the Paul Féval car park (near the Hippodrome, 3.30 € / day.), The former SNCF station (A), the Grande Passerelle (7) and the Rond Point Chaussée des Corsaires (B) entrance to the Old Town. From 9 am to 10 pm, departure every 20 minutes.

By boat from Dinard: ferries provide a link between Dinard and Saint-Malo in about 10 minutes from 9 am to 8 pm for the duration of the festival.

By Bus from the train station: Easier and more convenient, choose the bus to go to the Festival: line C1 and C2, a departure every 10 minutes.

By train: For timetables, please consult the SNCF SNCF website. It is a 20-minute walk from the train station to the Palais du grand large.
Rennes-Saint-Malo: 17 round trips a day by train allow you to reach Rennes and Saint-Malo in 50 minutes.
