The Fonds Hélène & Édouard Leclerc pour la Culture is a contemporary art center, located in Landerneau in the former Capucin convent. Presenting emblematic artists of our time and mediating with a large audience are the objectives of the program of temporary exhibitions.

Since its opening in 2012, the FHEL has welcomed more than 1,000,000 visitors!
While it has become a meeting place for contemporary art lovers, the site welcomes an increasingly varied and numerous public, of all ages and from all backgrounds.
Each year, two to three temporary exhibitions take place in the large hall of 1200 m².

Coming soon (From October 17, 2021 to April 3, 2022) : Françoise Pétrovitch

Françoise Pétrovitch takes over the Capuchins market and displays a world of images: bodies, shapes, figures, expressions, all the subjects that inhabit her and browse her work. The exhibition, designed with its curators, Camille Morineau and Lucia Pesapane, tells these stories around recurring themes and through a selection of paintings, sculptures, drawings, ceramics, prints and videos.

    Retrospective:
The FHEL welcomed Joan Miró in 2013, Jean Dubuffet in 2014, Alberto Giacometti in 2015, the 3rd stage of the Opéra national de Paris in spring 2016, Marc Chagall in 2016 or Pablo Picasso in 2017, Henry Moore and Mitchell / Riopelle in 2018.

Certain pieces, produced for Landerneau, are presented for the first time.
An invitation is extended to FHEL audiences to discover this universe and, with the artist, to look behind the masks!
