On more than 400 m2, the permanent exhibition allows you to understand the evolution of the fauna and flora during the seasons as well as the characteristics of the different natural environments. Preserving these balances is now a major challenge for this UNESCO World Heritage area. Man lives in this environment and has always exploited its riches. Formerly, he extracted the salt by an original process today disappeared. The workshop of the saunier makes you discover this ancestral technique.
Formerly very active professional fishing is now being replaced by new activities such as oysters, mussels and salt meadows. Two exhibition rooms retrace these activities and their evolutions, notably through the presentation of objects collected on the territory (fishing gear on foot, nets ...).

During a demonstration, discover the salt making technique used in the Bay until the middle of the 19th century and leave with your own salt.
