About France and Europe, the Journées Européennes des Métiers d’Art are a unique, free event promoting greater recognition of the craft sector. The 2025 edition of the JEMAs will feature the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, an area with a wealth of excellent expertise, as well as Portugal, a country with a rich culture and high-quality craft skills. The theme of the event is “At your fingertips”.

What are the JEMAs?

Meetings with art and craft professionals through open doors at workshops and training establishments, events, Rendez-vous d’Exception, demonstrations of know-how, discovery workshops, conferences, two-way tours, etc.

Where? When?

The JEMAs take place every year, for a week in spring, all over France and Europe, in the heart of regions, towns, villages, neighbourhoods… Find out all about the French programme on this website.

Who is it for?

Citizen, popular and unifying, the JEMAs are aimed at audiences from all backgrounds, all generations and with multiple profiles: amateurs, the curious, surveyors, aesthetes, collectors, consumers…
