1.

The house on stilts

A little out of the way, the house on stilts is a rather curious cottage. Surrounded by a wide balcony overlooking the pond, accessed by a wooden pontoon, it is as if suspended above the water. Since 2004, this house has been the subject of a restoration project by the Amis du Petit Patrimoine association and is now used as an artists’ residence (painters, photographers, writers, film-makers, etc.).

2.

The Hédé-Bazouges pond

In the inter-war period, many city dwellers coming from Rennes took the “petit tacot” to Hédé to fish in the Bazouges ponds. Land was leased by the Domaines to private individuals, who built cottages on the banks of the Bazouges pond in the years 19201930, some of which still exist today. Built on one level, of wood, small in size and generally surrounded by a small garden, they are lined up in a tight row facing the pond.

And to continue, a walk is on offer!

3.

La rigole de Boulet

14 km long, the Rigole de Boulet, built the hands of man have been feeding the Canal d’Ille-et-Rance for nearly 200 years. It represents the ideal place to go for a walk along the paths, in the shade of the trees and in the heart of the verdant landscapes. Take a moment to stroll along the water’s edge.
