Accueil Vélo label

Surveys carried out by the Observatoire Régional du Tourisme de Bretagne show that hiking and walking are among the activities most popular with visitors.
This is also the finding of the Projects and Development Department of the Société Publique Locale Saint-Malo Baie du Mont-Saint-Michel. Our Destination is fortunate to be crossed by greenways:

Eurovélo 4, also known as Vélomaritime, the greenway running from Kiev to Roscoff via Mont-Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo for cycle touring.
The Voie verte V42 linking Saint-Malo to Arzal and the V43 linking Saint-Malo to Rhuys for cycle touring.

Your accommodation may be eligible to enter the qualification process, via the Accueil Vélo mark. (In addition for accommodation only, you can join the Etape Rando Bretagne network free of charge, subject to offering the compulsory services of the standard).

What are the criteria?

Applying for the Accueil Vélo label is a voluntary process.

To qualify for the label, depending on the type of facility:
accommodation, leisure facility and bike hire and/or repair shop, you must:

be located within 5km of the greenways,
offer certain specific services set out in the national Accueil Vélo grid.

For accommodation only:

be classified or labelled
offer an overnight stay

How to obtain the label:

If you are interested in an advisory visit for your accommodation, please send your request by email using the form attached below.

Our on-site visit enables us to check that the establishment meets the criteria of the quality benchmarks.
If you meet all the criteria and wish to make a commitment, signature of the Referentiel Accueil Vélo
Payment of a financial contribution for the Accueil Vélo brand, amounting to €200 for 3 years
(the financial contribution is intended to cover the costs inherent in providing communication tools: sticker, plaque, publication on regional and national websites).
The label is obtained for 3 years. It entitles you to advertising on the national France Vélo Tourisme website, the regional Tourisme Bretagne website and the saint-malo-tourisme.com
