The Destination Saint-Malo Baie du Mont-Saint-Michel has obtained the QUALITY TOURISM mark in 2021.

The QUALITÉ TOURISME™ brand: what is it?

Created by the French Ministry in charge of tourism, it is the recognition of the continuous improvement approaches to quality of services put in place by tourist offices. An audit is carried out every 5 years. It is a guarantee of trust and quality of service between professionals and visitors.

The commitments of Category I :

  • provide you with an easily accessible reception area and information space
  • make it easy for you to do business
  • provide you with free access to WiFi
  • be open at least 305 days a year, Sat, Sundays and holidays included during the tourist period
  • answer your mail all year round
  • ensure a permanent reception service held by staff speaking at least two foreign languages
  • ensure the provision of tourist maps, maps and tourist guides on paper
  • give you access to its website in several languages dedicated and adapted to consultation via embedded media
  • disseminate its tourist information also on paper translated,at least in two foreign languages relating to all classified tourist accommodations including at least the name of the establishment, postal address, email, website address, telephone contact information, classification level;to monuments and tourist sites cultural, natural or leisure that may include the indication of rates of use, periods and hours of opening to the public, website and postal telephone contact information; to events and entertainment; to emergency telephone numbers.
  • update its tourist information
  • display outside the emergency phone numbers
  • present all the qualified offer of its intervention area for all the clienteles
  • give you access to the consultation of the availabilities of classified accommodations
  • process your complaints and measure your satisfaction
  • propose a tourist information service integrating the new technologies of information and communication;(social networks, cell phones, geolocation…)

TOURISM & DISABILITY

It is the guarantee of an efficient welcome adapted to the needs and demands of people with disabilities who wish to go on vacation like everyone else. More widely, the Destination Saint-Malo Baie du Mont-Saint-Michel Intercommunity Tourist Office is aware of the process of identifying the adapted tourist offer throughout its territory.

The Saint-Malo Tourist Office

The Tourist Office has held the Tourism & Handicap mark since 2015 for the 4 disabilities: auditory, mental, motor and visual.The office also received the Golden Trophy of Accessible Tourism in 2017; this is a national award that marks the official recognition of the quality of the offer dedicated to audiences with disabilities. The tourist office offers many services and facilities.

The Tourist Information Office of Dol-de-Bretagne:

The Office holds the Tourism & Handicap mark since 2014 for 3 disabilities: hearing, mental and motor. The Bureau offers many services and facilities.

Eco-sustainable development

The Tourist Office is committed to an ecotourism approach and makes its visitors aware of the need to respect the environment: outings on the coast with a naturalist guide, dematerialization of information, information on public transport… Are you interested in sustainable tourism?
