The Cap-Fréhel – Saint-Malo – Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel Tourist Destination is made up of 5 local authorities/EPCIs in Brittany:
- the Communauté de communes du Pays de Dol et de la Baie du Mont-Saint-Michel,
- the Communauté de communes Bretagne Romantique,
- the Communauté de communes Côte d’Émeraude,
- Saint-Malo Agglomération, ‘ Dinan Agglomération.
The region’s nautical industry can be broken down into 4 sectors of activity:
- water sports and seaside activities
- pleasure harbours and mooring sites,
- industries, shops and services
- maritime excursions

The Cap Fréhel – Saint Malo – Mont-Saint-Michel Tourist Destination area has 93 water sports and seaside service providers on its coastline, on the Rance and on its inland waters. The 7 marinas and 56 mooring sites welcome sailing and motor yachts alongside the quayside, on pontoons, in mooring areas or in dry ports.
The Tourist Destination also boasts 88 boat building, boat sales, accessories and equipment, service, repair and maintenance businesses.
Each sector brings together complementary and interdependent activities and trades.
