The Tourisme & Handicap mark is a voluntary approach: tourism professionals undertake to offer services and equipment that guarantee safety and independence for people with disabilities.
- The criteria for the specifications are identical throughout the country, in line with the 2005 Accessibility Act
- The Tourisme & Handicap mark makes it possible, within the general tourism offer, to distinguish establishments providing services to welcome people with disabilities
- 4 families of disability are taken into account: motor, hearing, visual, mental (2 are required to obtain the label)
- The Mark is awarded for 5 years
