Saint-Malo is famous for its Corsair City, synonymous with adventure, travel, and dreams. Appointed by Vauban as "Chief Engineer and Director of Fortifications of Saint-Malo," Garangeau built the citadel on a rock in the middle of the sea. A key French port in the 17th and 18th centuries, Saint-Malo became the cradle of privateers and great men. Climb the 1,754-meter-long ramparts of Saint-Malo and absorb the unofficial motto, "Neither French nor Breton, I am from Saint-Malo."
Group limited to 35 people. Tour in French. Tour duration: 1 hour 30 minutes.
