Description
The Zèbres en Rance regatta, created in 1992 and a great classic of the Société Nautique de la Baie de Saint-Malo, takes its name from the Zèbres turret which is a mark of the course that participants see near the Rance dam. .
One of the particularities of the event is its visibility from any point on the banks of the Rance from where spectators can see, admire, photograph, film the ballet of the boats, tacking or sailing under multicolored spinnakers, encouraging the voice of their sailor friends…
This regatta, which seems easy, is in fact a very complete sporting event: close tacking on a congested body of water, sending spinnakers and lowering, currents and counter-currents, sneaky sandbanks and the passage of the Saint Hubert bridge!
