La Cité d’Alet

The cité d’Alet is an ancient fortified site. Founded in Roman times, housing a bishopric until the 12th century. You can still see the remains of Saint-Pierre d’Alet cathedral and the fortifications built by Vauban in the 17th century. Overlooking the Rance estuary, the town offers an exceptional panorama and bears witness to the region’s military and religious history.

The quality and sumptuousness of its 19th-century décor and furnishings are well worth a visit.

4.

Le Parc de la Briantais

Redeveloped in the 19th century by the Bülher brothers, this magnificent 27-hectare park offers breathtaking views over the Rance estuary, the Tour Solidor and the Bay of Saint-Malo. You’ll discover an extremely varied herbaceous flora, a rich forest fauna and numerous species of birds.
