35 reading tables and 10 drawing initiation tables have been set up along the 4 hiking trails in the commune.

Tours

starting from the Maison du Canal:

  • circuit of the Chalets and the Étang de Bazouges,
  • circuit of the Eleven Locks

starting from the Place du Château:

  • circuit du château
  • circuit des Sept Moulins

Reading tables present different heritage themes: agriculture, buildings, biodiversity and wildlife, bocage, Ille-et-Rance canal, citizen initiatives.

Each table features a QR code
which provides access to:

  • 2 audio files (one in French aimed particularly at the visually impaired, the other in English for foreign visitors)
  • 1 gallery of photos and/or drawings complementing the illustrations on the reading table
  • different bibliographical references and additional information for walkers wishing to delve deeper into the themes covered.

The “educational drawing guides” tables present the various stages involved in creating a representation of a landscape feature and offer those interested an introduction to drawing or painting. The 10 tables offer a range of techniques: pencil, pen, watercolour pencils, watercolours and acrylics.
